Meet the Doctors

Dr. Levine

Dr. Levine was born and raised in New York. She graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Albany majoring in biology with a double minor in chemistry and psychology. After spending 4 years in upstate New York, Dr. Levine craved sunshine and warm weather so she moved west to attend dental school at UCLA. After earning her DDS degree, Dr. Levine furthered her education by completing a General Practice Residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, honing her dental skills by running the outpatient dental clinic and learning how medicine and dentistry work together for the health of the patient. Dr. Levine continues her education to this day by taking a wide variety of continuing education classes in new dental techniques and products, medical emergencies, practice management, CPR and emerging technology.

Dr. Levine worked as an associate dentist at several practices in the Los Angeles area until 1997 when she opened her own practice in Beverly Hills, incorporating many of the techniques and practices she learned from mentors. In 2001 she moved to the current location in Century City where she sees local professionals working in Century City as well as families residing in the area. She enjoys seeing both adults and children. She has spoken at a local preschool and elementary school about dentistry, teeth and the importance of oral hygiene. She has also spoken at a local high school on the importance of protective mouth guards while playing sports and has made mouth guards for all the players on the Palisades Charter High School baseball team.

Skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As a dental professional, she stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for her patients. As a doctor, she recognizes that her patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in her and her team. That is just one reason why she values each and every patient relationship.

Her goal is to make going to the dentist and working there an enjoyable experience for all.

When not making people smile at her office, Dr. Levine enjoys spending time with her husband, five kids, and two grandchildren. She loves traveling the world, hiking, biking, skiing, reading, and enjoying the California sunshine.

Dr. Danielle Akry

Dr. Danielle Akry was born and raised in the city of Encino in Los Angeles. She attended UC Berkeley for her undergraduate education, where she received a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Soon after, she attended the four-year DDS program at the UCLA School of Dentistry. During her schooling, she received additional training in advanced restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. She continued her training abroad in Nicaragua and Vietnam, where she volunteered her time and skills for the local underserved populations.

After she graduated, Dr. Akry participated in local courses and lectures on restorative, implant, and esthetic dentistry. She received additional certifications in Invisalign, TMJ Botox treatment, and Laser dentistry. Such training led her to practice conservative and well-rounded dentistry. Treating each patient as a whole while offering dentistry at the utmost standard of care has permitted her to bond with and comfort her patients. Her goal in treating patients is to make the experience as relaxing and calming as possible while looking at the bigger picture.

In addition, speaking Spanish and Hebrew has allowed her to further cross cultural and linguistic barriers to promote ease with her patients.

Dr. Akry is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Western Los Angeles Dental Association, California Dental Association, and other educational platforms to continue her knowledge and experience in dentistry.

Outside of caring for her patients, Dr. Akry values spending time with her family, her husband, and her two daughters. During her free time, she often enjoys traveling, baking, cooking, running, and spending time with her extended family and friends.
